THE WASH (2001)
In this DJ Pooh-directed comedy, Dee Loc (Snoop Dogg) and Sean (Dr. Dre) are roommates working at a car wash run by the ill-tempered Mr. Washington (George Wallace). As if the two weren't in enough trouble (chasing the ladies during work hours, hustling customers with side-scams) Mr. Washington gets kidnapped and the roommates have to figure out how to get him back. Eminem plays a psychopathic ex-employee who terrorizes Mr. Washington
8 MILE (2002)
8 Mile, a fictional feature film from Univeral Pictures and Brian Grazer, marks the debut of multi-platinum recording artist Eminem in the leading role of a motion picture. 8 Mile is a provocative examination of a critical month in young man's life as he searches for identity and a sense of purpose. Against a backdrop of familial indifference and community decay, he lears to express his anger, fears and frustrations as he stuggles to transcend his bleak circumstances. Curtis Hanson directs from an original screenplay by Scott Silver. The Cast members include Eminem, Kim Basinger, Brittany Murphy, Mekki Phifer, Eugene Byrd, and Taryn Manning.
8 MILE DVD (2003)
The 8 Mile DVD includes many bonuses that can't be seen anywhere else. Exclusive rap battles shot during the making of the movie feature spontaneous rap performances between Eminem and audience extras from the film. The music video for "Superman" is only available on the DVD. Plus, behind-the-scenes with Eminem which is a documentary about the making of 8 Mile.
